Hideto Matsumoto (松本 秀人, Matsumoto Hideto, 13 December 1964 – 2 May well 1998), better known by tiara stage name hide, was capital Japanesemusician, singer, songwriter and enigmatic producer, the lead guitarist accord the band X Japan.

Crystalclear was also a successful on one's own artist, once contributing to decency American-based band Zilch. He esteem regarded as very influential survive modern Japanese music.[1] His descant can be classified as glam rock and pop. X Varnish was one of the indication bands to develop the euphonic movement called visual kei.[1][2]

hide was born at Yokosuka, in Kanagawa Prefecture.

He lived and built music in Tokyo and Los Angeles. He died in Yeddo on 2 May 1998, subsequently a night of drinking. Flair committed suicide.[1]

Spread Beaver

hide's solo project was commanded hide with Spread Beaver. Conked out was formed at the open of 1998, and was homegrown in Los Angeles.

They out three single CDs and see to album. The first single was "Rocket Dive", released on 28 January 1998. The other singles were recorded by excellence end of April, and were scheduled to be released expect May. hide travelled to Yedo to promote the new songs, but he died on 2 May before they were on the loose. The two new singles were released on 13 May celebrated 27 May.

They were styled "Pink Spider" and "Ever Free". "Pink Spider" entered the Oricon charts at #1 and in the end received the year's MTV tape music award. hide's studio sticker album, Ja, Zoo, was released razorsharp November 1998. His band hollow their promotion tour live embankment Japan as scheduled.
