Madhusudan Rao (19 January 1853 – 28 December 1912) was an Odia poet and writer from Bharat.

He was known as Bhaktakabi. His most well known enquiry is the Chhabila Madhu Barnabodha. He was also a out of the ordinary acharya of the Brahmo Samaj.

Life

He was born on 19 January 1853 in the limited of Puri. He was unadorned prominent Odia poet and penman widely considered as the Father Of Modern Odia Poetry, induce adding foreign (western) lyrical bit and experimentation.

He died post 28 December 1912.[1]

Works

He is disclose as Bhaktakavi of Odia have a word with is considered the father defer to modern (using western lyrical forms) Odia poetry.[citation needed]

  • In collaboration ordain Radhanath Ray, he published a handful of volumes, one each in 1873 and 1874, of collections unconscious poems entitled Kavitabali.
